The Best Things Come In Small (And Big) Packages

What a wonderful 1st Christmas! Thank you everybody for all my great gifts. I loved everything (from my penguin bowling set to all my books)! I feel so loved.

Christmas is just so exciting

Getting ready for the big day

I'm not sure why Mommy and Daddy said I received way too many presents!

Can you find me?

I have to guard my gifts with my life (especially with Uncle Mike around)

Noah, don't be jealous that you just got one!

Growing Bigger Everyday

This past week, Mommy, Daddy, and I made Christmas cookies. It was super fun. I was in charge of putting on the sprinkles. While we were baking, we listened to Christmas music. Daddy actually did a lot of the work but oddly refused to take any pictures! It's a great start to new family traditions!

Yummy cookies.......

Mom pretending to look busy!

All in a day's work

Mom and Dad say I am growing and changing everyday! There are a few things I am finding that I love. 1. I love to get in my Baby Bjorn and stroll around the house. I can look up at my favorite things, fans and lights! I also enjoy taking little snoozes when my Mom or Dad are vacuuming the house. 2. I love when my Mom gets me up from a good night's sleep. I am all smiles. 3. I love my changing table! I enjoy talking and kicking my feet. Life is good.

This is great!

This is Daddy's favorite shirt! Pee-paw bought it for me in Arizona. Willie and I are definitely 'Born for Trouble'!

Finally, I also got to go on my first walk! Since the weather has been unusually warm these past few days, 70 degrees, (don't be jealous Aunt Amanda), Mom, Dad, Sam, and I got to venture outside. It was great. This is a picture of me getting ready to go!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas.....

The other night, Uncle Goob and Aunt Kelli came over with my cousin Mallory to come babysit me while Mommy and Daddy ran a few errands. When they came home, they surprised me with my very first Christmas tree! They said that they were going to let me pick it out, but it was just too cold. Oh well, maybe next year! Anyway, Uncle Goob and Daddy put on the lights while Mommy and Aunt Kelli put on the garland. Mallory was in charge of supervising. When we were finished, I was amazed at how beautiful it was. One of my favorite things to do right now is to stare at the lights. They just look so cool!

What a sweet family

Mallory, next time just spend the night!

Thanks for watching me Aunt Kelli and Uncle Goob!

Then over the weekend I got all dressed up in my Christmas gear. Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Daddy's work Christmas get-together. I hate to admit it, but I was kind of the hit of the party!

I love my changing table

How do I look?!

All ready to go Mom!

A late night

Finally, I waited to tell you about the best thing that happened to me last week, last. It's certainly a day I'll never forget!! Can you believe I got to meet one of the MOST FAMOUS people in the entire world....SANTA!! He came all the way from the North Pole to Madison, Georgia! I was so excited I could hardly stand it! However, the long car ride made me very sleepy. I could barely keep my eyes open at first, but after a quick diaper change, I was wide awake. Santa asked if I had been naughty or nice this year! I told him I was only a little over three weeks old, but I felt that I'd been pretty nice so far. Mommy and Daddy agreed. Hopefully, I convinced Santa so he'll come to our house in a few weeks!

While visions of sugar plums danced in my head....

Oh Santa!!

Can I meet all your reindeer?

A Time For Thanks

The Thanksgiving holiday is certainly a time for family and friends. I had a lot of visitors this week and feel truly blessed being surrounded by so many loved ones.

Aunt Kay loves me!

Great Uncle Herb even made the trip from Dalton. Thanks for my coins, Uncle Herb!

Conner, you are such a big girl!

Enjoying my visit with Tracey, Conner, and Nana

I really tried to stay awake to see everybody!

Cousin Mallory is so sweet and is always checking to make sure I'm ok.

Thanks for sharing Pee-Paw with me, Mallory.

Hanging out with Great Granddaddy

On Thanksgiving Day, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncles Mike, John, Matt, and Aunt Amanda came to Athens. Daddy was in charge of frying the turkey. Since it was such a pretty day, I got to go outside for a little bit to supervise. He did a decent job. The turkey was delicious! After we ate, we spent the rest of the day napping. What a perfect day! There are so many things to be thankful for......

Don't drop it, Dad!

Aunt Amanda and I had way too much turkey.

Uncle Matt and I

I had a wonderful 1st Thanksgiving...already looking forward to next year.

Uncle Mike babysat me while Mom, Dad, and Amanda went shopping at 6 o'clock in the morning the day after Thanksgiving. He told Mom and Dad it was hard work! What do you think?!

2 Weeks Old!!

Today, I am 2 weeks old. Mommy and Daddy keep telling me how proud they are of me. I am sleeping 3-5 hour stretches during the night at a time. I think Mommy swaddling me like a little glow worm helps!

I am awake a lot more often now. Bath time is fun (sometimes).

Wide awake! I love looking at all kinds of things....especially my Mommy and Daddy.

Last Thursday, my Daddy gave me my first bottle! I sucked it down like a pro! I ate 3 ounces and wanted more! What can I say, I am a growing girl!

Our family is now complete......

Great Friends

This week Aunt Magill and Sawyer came to Athens to visit Mommy and me. Aunt Magill is such a gift. She helped Mommy out a TON! I was happy I finally got to meet Sawyer Man too. I've heard so much about him. We had a great time! I hated to see them go, but Mommy told me that they are moving closer to us soon. The countdown is on!! Love ya'll!

Hello there!

Aunt Magill got me to take my first pacifier!

A girl needs her beauty rest......

Sawyer wanted to swing too.......

So, I let him!

Aunt Magill has that special touch

I love a baby who knows how to protect his lady
