Talking Up a Storm

Sorry I haven't posted a blog lately. We have been super busy doing all kinds of things. The other day I had to go to the doctor. I weighed 13 pounds, 7 ounces and was 24 and 1/8 inches long. Both my height and weight were in the 90th percentile. I am really loving this thing they call life. Right now I love to lay on my back and just talk, talk, talk (that is until I see the camera). Mom says that I am going to be quite the chatterbox when I grow up. Speaking of Mom, starting Monday, she has to go back to work. She isn't thrilled about it but is very thankful that Aunt Magill is coming to watch me and be there to support her. I am going to miss her terribly, but I know I will have great fun with Sawyer-Man next week!

Just To See You Smile

Well, Mom and Dad say I am growing like a weed these days and that my personality is really starting to shine! They love all my different facial expressions and say that they can just stare at me all day! Things are going well these days. I am not as sleepy and am beginning to stay awake the majority of the day. I am enjoying bath time a lot better lately too. I also got to spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house for the first time! I had a wonderful time and especially liked Grandpa serenading me! He has such a great voice!

No, I don't have any extra acorns to share!

Mommy says I get this face from my Dad.

And this one from her............

Here's looking at you!

Whoo, I'm pooped!

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.....

Oh Dad!

There is nothing better than kicking my feet
on my changing table

Mom, you are like the paparazzi!

Strap me in tight!

I love riding in the car!

All ready to go 'bye-bye'!

I love watching football with my Dad.

That was a bad pass!

Back In Commission

As most of you know, I got my very first cold! It stunk! I couldn't breathe out of my nose. So, I didn't sleep well at all the first night I had it (neither did my Mom), but once I got used to breathing out of my mouth, it got better. Even though I didn't have a fever my Mom and Dad insisted that I go visit the doctor. At our visit, I found out that I weighed twelve pounds, eight ounces. I was pretty surprised how much weight I gained, but my parents, for some reason, weren't. Anyway, with the help of a Vics-Vapor plug-in and some good ol' suctioning, I am on my way to a complete recovery. Fortunately, I was better by Thursday to watch the Dawgs play in the Capital One Bowl and for my dearest friend, Sawyer's, first birthday party.

Mom and I got all dressed up in our red for the game.

This is great! I can't wait until I can sit up on my own.

All smiles cause my Dawgs won

This past Friday, Mom, Dad, and I made my first road trip! We went to Birmingham to attend my friend, Sawyer's, first birthday party! The car ride was nice. I'm like my Mom, though, and pretty much slept the entire way there. Friday night we helped Aunt Magill get all ready for the party. Sawyer had a 'safari-themed' party. It was so cool! There were blow-up safari animals everywhere I looked. Saturday was the big day. Sawyer looked so handsome in his outfit. Although, he didn't care too much for his cake, the rest of the party was an absolute hit. I can't wait until I turn one!

'Happy birthday to you'

Sawyer got his own cupcake to eat. He wasn't really in the mood to eat but who would be with all the presents waiting to be opened!

He got some great gifts

Sawyer, you even have a toy named after you! How lucky!

I'm king of the jungle around here mister
