This weekend I watched my very first Georgia game! Although it was somewhat nerve wracking and Mom and I had to leave the room the last minute, the Dawgs ended up squeaking by! I hope every game won't be like this!! I think me calling the Dawgs helped them pull it out!

Week One
I am now officially one week old!! Over the past seven days I've mainly been doing a lot of eating and a ton of sleeping. Life as a baby is pretty exhausting! I had a busy week and met a lot of my family and friends. This weekend, my Auntie Amanda came all the way from Chicago to meet me. I was sad when she left, but fortunately she'll be back for Thanksgiving. I had a lot of other visitors this week as well. We had a great time hanging out and watching the Dawgs play.

Sweet Dreams!

Auntie Amanda loves me!

Yes, I am STILL sleeping!

The girls!

Don't I look just like my Dad when he was first born!?
Mom loves our cheeks!!

Don't Wade and Sarah look like pros!

We're home!
We finally made it home! I have so many cool toys and gadgets here to play with. There is also a big furry animal who follows me everywhere. I think her name is Sam.

I Have Arrived!
Yesterday, November 9th at 9:25 pm, I was born!
I woke Mommy up early Sunday morning to let her know that I'd be making my appearance later in the day. I chose to stick to the plan and to arrive on my exact due date.
Mommy waited quietly for over an hour for Daddy to wake up around 6:30 am (she is so considerate). When he woke up, she shared the news that he'd be meeting his baby girl in a little while.
So, full of excitement and anticipation, Mommy and Daddy headed to Athens Regional, where I'd be born. Mommy had a long, but good, labor. She is such a trooper!
Finally, it was time to push! Getting here was a little tougher than expected. Mommy and I had to work at it for almost 2 hours! But, we both did our best, and with determination, love and Daddy's support, at 9:25 pm, I met the World.
I am Jillian 'Drew' Martin, 8 pounds 2 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Everyone loves my sweet chubby cheeks! It is yet to be determined whom I look most like...
So, far, I am a perfect little angel. Eating and sleeping like a champ. Mommy, Daddy and I will head home on Tuesday. I can't wait to meet my doggie-sister, Sam!
Mommy and Daddy are overflowing with joy and thankfulness for my safe and healthy arrival. What a blessing!
Now, let the fun and excitement of life begin!
Truly a bundle of joy!

Perfect in every way!

Such a sleepy girl!

I've got Grandpa Scooter's heart already!

Cousin Mallory is very concerned when I cry. So sweet!

Daddy's girl

A priceless moment in time

Counting Down the Days!
The other day Mommy had an ultrasound and got a few pictures of me. Unfortunately, I was kind-of tired and wasn't cooperating very well. My hands stayed up by my face most of the time, but they managed to get a few good shots of me!

The days are just flying by! I can't believe I am going to meet my family in a few weeks. I've heard so much about everyone (especially my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousin)!

Right now my Mommy and Daddy are busy preparing for my big arrival! They are putting finishing touches on the nursery and gathering a few items I am going to need. Well, I can't wait and look forward to meeting everybody!
