1/2 A Year and Counting!

I am a little over six months old now! How time flies! Recently, I just went to the doctor for my six month check up. I now weigh 19 pounds, 12 ounces and am 27 inches long. I'm still hanging in there and was in the 95th percentile in both weight and height again. Mommy and Daddy hope I have some 'Uncle Goober genes'! I am now sitting up all by myself and love it! I play, play, play all day. Even though I wish I could, I'm not crawling yet. When I'm on my tummy, I mainly just flail my arms and legs around at the same time. Sometimes I scooch but I go backwards! Oh well. I'm also eating like a little piglet. I love pretty much everything (from vegetable risotto with cheese to strawberry-banana granola). Yummy!

Spring Fever

I am almost 5 months old! Can ya'll believe it!? Anyway, I have to tell you, a lot has been going on at the Martin house! I know in my last post I said that I would never eat that rice cereal again, but I guess I should never say never! We tried again the other day, and would you believe, it was actually pretty good. Also, I am now mobile! I love spending all day rolling over. I can flip from my back to my tummy all day long, but I'm still not liking being on my tummy so much! I like posing like 'Superwoman', but that gets boring quick (and I let Mom know)! I've also been enjoying hanging out with all my girls (I love you too, Sawyer)! I love watching my cousin Mallory. I can't help but smile and laugh when she's around. I've also got to play with my great friends, Ella and Peyton, some too.

Girls just want to have fun!

Well, I'd have to say that I LOVE all things spring. Now that the weather is getting nice we are all enjoying being outside a lot more. This past weekend our great friends, and my best bud, Sawyer, came to visit me. We had such fun. We got to enjoy a nice walk and even go to the Georgia baseball game.

Rice Cereal....Not So Much!

Well, the other day I thought I'd try something different for dinner, rice cereal. I was actually very much looking forward to expanding my palate. However, I was in for a rude awakening. Not only did my Mom and Dad feed me some nasty mess, they didn't even give it to me in a ba-ba!! They shoved some tool in my mouth that I didn't like so much! They told me that I'd try it again in a week or so, but I'm thinking not much is going to change in a few days. We'll see, and I'll let you all know.

Also, I went to the doctor the other day for a check-up. I now weigh 16 pounds, 11 ounces, and I am 26 inches long! I am growing more and more everyday!

Snow Day!

Despite all the events that took place as a result of the weather this past weekend, I still enjoyed my first official 'snow day'! Initially, I was shocked and quite confused with the soft, wet stuff that was falling from the sky. My mom said to enjoy it because we wouldn't get many of these days! Sam had a blast too. She enjoyed jumping and running through the snow. She looked like a little deer.
